白色巨塔主题曲Amazing Grace
Amazing Grace（奇异的恩典）
Amazing Grace 是一首苏格兰的民谣，至今已流传将近300年，中文译为奇异的恩典或赞叹天恩，常在全国性或民间的庆典、节日、欢乐的庆祝活动或甚至哀伤的纪念活动中做为主要的演奏或演唱的曲目，当音乐歌声缓缓响起，其优美肃穆的乐声，常令参与活动的人为之动容。Amazing Grace虽为苏格兰民谣，亦流行并被使用于整个英伦三岛含英格兰、韦尔斯及爱尔兰。后来随着移民将其带入美洲新大陆，现在亦成为美国全国性或民间庆典活动的最主要曲目音乐。堪称为苏格兰民谣之第一把交椅。
Amazing Grace 的歌词相当多，较常被演唱的有六段，如下：
1. Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind but now I see.
2. 'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved,
How precious did that grace appear,
The hour I first believed.
3. Through many dangers, toils and snares
I have already come.
'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.
4. The Lord has promised good to me,
His Word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures.
5. Yea, when this heart and flesh shall fail,

PS. 1-3，5，6段为John Newton所填词，第4段为John P. Rees所作。歌词亦有克尔特人(Celts)的盖尔语（Gaelic）填词，因较少流传，暂不列出。
歌词的意境深远，歌词很长，演唱者很少将其唱完，大都只选择其中的3-4段，但已使人动容。
Amazing Grace亦常被使用为电影插曲，中外皆然，如最近的（2004年）「大智若鱼」（Big Fish）及「地下铁」（Sound of Colors）。日本NHK在2004年重拍的电视连续剧「白色巨塔」，就使用纽西兰音乐美少女海莉（Hayley Westenra）演唱的版本做为片尾曲，使Amazing Grace这首歌在日本及台湾因而声名大噪。
